WINTER SPORTS RECAP

Winter sports are coming to a close,
congrats on a great season Warriors!

Congratulations to Warrior swimmer, Cody Soo who is the OSAA 6A State Champion in the 100 Free and 3rd fastest in the 200 Free.

Congratulations to Boys Basketball for placing 3rd in the PIL. The boy’s team has secured a spot in the OSAA State Playoffs

The Wrestling state tournament concluded 2/28 with some tough competition. Logan Medford and Haley Vann finished 3rd, Elija Fishler finished 5th and Patrick Brown finished 6th. The team placed 15th out of 46 6A teams.

Dance competed in the PIL Dance competition at Lincoln High School 2/29. They placed 2nd in show category! The team will begin adding practice time as they build up to State at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on 3/20-21.

Unified basketball placed 2nd in the State Tournament!!! They lost in overtime, and truly embodied the spirit of unified sports. Our students where complemented on their sportsmanship by other teams. The coaches and the kids had a great time.

This Winter season saw 184 athletes participate in 5 programs (Swim, Wrestling, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Dance) and the Fall season included 404 athletes in 6 programs (XC, Football, Volleyball, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Cheer).

Thank you families for supporting your athletes; staff for making all those home games happen; pep band for giving us even more spirit; and everyone who cheered in the stands.  Our athletes make our school proud and we strive to enrich students' lives with sportsmanship and dedication.
